The Kind Of Constipation Treatments That Bowtrol Has

When you are constipated, you just don't feel well. At first it's perhaps just a mild bloating and a heaviness that assails you. Later, however, if the constipation is chronic, you will experience more severe symptoms. There can be pain around the abdomen, nausea and vomiting, even problems urinating.

It's just not pleasant for you. Luckily, constipation can be alleviated in most cases by a change in diet and more exercise. If you've got any bleeding or severe pain, it's wise to see your doctor to rule out any dangerous conditions. Other than that, constipation is generally caused by lack of fiber in the diet, not enough exercise, stress, too much protein, or not enough liquids being taken in.

Physical conditions such as pregnancy, problems with metabolism or simple aging can also contribute to the problem. So your first line of defense is to add more fiber to your diet, Eat more salads. Raw (or gently steamed in order to avoid flatulence) vegetables in general are great, especially broccoli, beans, cauliflower, or beetroot.

Beetroot with its bright red color is good for letting you know how long it takes you to digest food. It should be a brief amount of time, and if you see the color of the beetroot in your stool within one day you know your digestive transit time is good. When you at raw vegetables, don't use a prepared dressing with lots of additives and chemicals. Instead make your own. It's easy with a tablespoon of olive oil and just a bit of lemon juice to taste.

The olive oil will lubricate your system, too, so as long as you don't use too much it's well worth the calories. For breakfast, add fiber by choosing some type of bran cereal (rice is often more easy to digest than wheat) combined with fruit and nuts. Apples, walnuts, prunes, and raisins are good choices and make a delicious breakfast.

Or try any cereal or breakfast entree sprinkled with a fiber powder such as psyllium powder. Think about liquids for preventing or assisting with constipation. Drink six to eight glasses of water a day, which means drinking when you realize you're thirsty or just before.

In the morning put a slice of lemon in warm water and drink it just before you go out for a walk. Don't forget that the exercise itself will get your system moving as much as anything else. Along with the above dietary changes, your constipation should ease in time.

The best alternative for me though, was using Bowtrol.  You can check out my Bowtrol review.
