Herbal Colon Cleanse
Colon cancer and other related problems with the colon is on the increase now. In the past this was unheard off
as people spent time to prepare food at home. Today it is mainly fast food and eating at the food court.
By doing this there is a intake of a lot of fat, which cannot be digested easily. Due to this collection the colon
gets affected. Also this will lead to toxin formation in the body. To ease the trouble one has to firstly change
their diet.
When the colon does not function properly one feels very uneasy. There is a lack of interest to do daily chores as
one is lazy. Also, problems like constipation, gas formation and stomach pain result. Due to the accumulation of
fecal matter there will be toxin formation.
Changing ones diet not only will help you loose weight but it will help you to feel lighter and enable you to do

Drinking more during the day and reduce the amount towards night. There are many ways of cleansing the bowel. Using
natural methods is always best. Add more fibre in your diet, as fibre helps to break down the fat deposits. Also
once in a way, it is good to go on a 24hr fast by consuming only bread and water.
Using herbs for colon cleansing is very good as it is a natural method. There are no chemicals which will cause
harm to the body. The herbs will help to kill the harmful bacteria and break down the fatty deposits, thus aiding
in flushing out the toxins and resulting in decreasing the pressure on the bowel and in turn having a good bowel
movement. Herbs have also been used for the cleaning of the colon.
These have been tried and tested over the years. Herbs like Aloe vera, senna, ginger, and cayenne pepper aid in
colon cleansing by helping in the bowel movement. Taking a pod of garlic daily also is good as this helps in the
digestion and kills harmful bacteria.
Garlic and fennel prevent puffiness of stomach and gas formation. In health stores one can find a variety of
products. Be careful to read the instructions well before purchasing any item. Use these products in
moderation.
Mostly it is sold as ready to use packs or as teas. If used too much there will have increase in bowel movements
and loss of water and become dehydrated. This will add cause many more complications. So it is better to do things
gradually and expect results slowly rather than be in a rush and cause more problems unnecessarily.
All in all along with the herbs, drinking sufficient water, moderate exercise and a balanced diet which includes at
least 25-30 grams fibre like oats, wheat bran, wheat bread, also eating vegetables and fruits will help to a great
extent in maintaining the bowel movements.
